Hope (Changing Paths blogging challenge day 2).

What gives me hope? The fact that so many people are rising up to challenge the genocide of Palestinians. So many people are trying to do something about the climate emergency. So many people are celebrating Pride and calling for land back to Indigenous Peoples.

Rebecca Solnit’s book HOPE IN THE DARK points out that even when things seem bleak and hopeless, remember that if mass protests and other forms of resistance hadn’t happened, everything would be so much worse than it is.
