I especially liked the bit I’ve quoted in the caption. It’s also similar to what I said in a recent video, Embracing Uncertainty.

When you leave a fundamentalist tradition that claims to have all the answers, it can be hard to accept that many things are unknown and unknowable. It is comforting to reflect, however, that fundamentalist ideas are definitely wrong, because they cause so much unhappiness and fear.
